Glohaven

American sort. The fruit ripens mid August, large, spherical, symmetrical. The skin is yellow, covered with blood-red patches – beautiful coloring. The flesh is golden-yellow, a bit red about the stone, melting, juicy, tasty. The stone is easy to separate. The tree is average growing, with wide, round crown, very vigorous. Blossoms mid-early, blossom shape – bell-like. The sort is sensitive to curliness, average resistant to spring and winter cold. The fruit is good for consumption when fresh, also good for conservation and nectar, as well as freezing. Not prone to bruising – good for manipulation and transportation.
